But, I think you'd be missing out on what makes having other players around worthwhile. Any other company would have been crucified for such a terrible job. Oh Fallout 76. The new Wastelanders update feels like the culmination of that, adding human NPCs to the title alongside a wealth of tweaks and improvements. This sort of slow burn, shitty monetization is stuff mobile games are made of, not something I'd expect from a major title. The DLC does make improvements, some of them large but I wouldn't say it's worth the $40 if you disliked what 76 already was in the past.
