No skyscrapers are in sight, the beach tucked into Big Talbot Island State Park within the bounds of the federally protected area of the Timucuan Ecological and Historical Preserve. Depending on tide elevations, the water/waves can come up to or almost to the bluff that you have to climb down to get to the beach. The 4 mile hike covers great terrain and is well worth the effort.
