the recording wasnt very clear and had words missing. Other than that, it was in O.K. a good deal of information about victims, very sad. IMO.

She knew the area and in fact lived near one of the body dump sites, and her knowledge of the area comes through in her descriptions of the area and the investigators.

I knew almost nothing about the Green River killer before I listened to this book.

She is among my top three favourite authors, up there with Dominic Sandbrook and W. Somerset Maugham, and I have read loads of her books.

and others.

Tomas Guillen, Narrated by: "Rule once again validates her standing as one of the pre-eminent chroniclers of modern serial murder....Perhaps her greatest achievement is bringing Ridgeway's victims to life as distinct individuals." Roy Wenzl,

She passed away in 2015, weirdly around the same time i finished reading this novel, and i was sad to hear about her passing because she writes very powerful stuff. I could have sworn I’d purchased a book about the Green River killer, but apparently I bought full biographies of every one of his victims and every officer even vaguely associated with the case. A truly harrowing account of a vicious, pathetic, cowardly man. Hot Tip: if you’re looking for gore, rent a horror movie.

Gary Ridgeway deprived them of the opportunity to grow up and find other ways to make a living.

By: I put this audiobook in the few dozen of the over 1300 I own as a "can't stop listening" category. Callahan takes us on a journey into the chilling, nightmarish mind of a relentless killer, and to the limitations of traditional law enforcement. I don't really wanna purchase the full book or waste my next credit to get the full work and have to piece together around the 5 hours I've already heard of the full 19. very frustrating, thinking about just deleting this app now.

Cassandra Campbell, The Inside Story of BTK, the Serial Killer Next Door, By: © Copyright 2011 - 2020 RB Audiobooks USA LLC. This seemed like a pretty novice attempt at writing. Ann Rule was working on the biggest story of her career, tracking the trail of victims left by a brutal serial killer.

It is not the victims lives that makes this an interesting story, but rather that this maniac was so prolific at what he was doing and how it took over twenty years to finally arrest him. Integer elementum tempor libero sit amet iaculis. In the most extraordinary journey Ann Rule has ever undertaken, America's master of true crime has spent more than two decades researching the story of the Green River Killer, who murdered more than 49 young women.

This simply was not a good telling of the Green River killings. Researching the case for more than twenty years, she later discovered the perpetrator had carried out many of his grisly crimes close to where she lived and had even attended her book signings. It is important to understand he worked for decades to appear normal.

Ann Rule is always a dependable author of true crime stories, I'm a big fan.

In this provocative and eye-opening classic of investigative journalism, the #1 New York Times bestselling author and “America’s best true-crime writer” (Kirkus Reviews), Ann Rule, explores the nearly twenty-year long search for America’s most prolific and horrifying serial killer.

I have read about half of the book so far but I don't think that I will make it to the end.

Steve Jackson, Narrated by:

A chilling look at the darkest side of human nature, this is the most important and most personal audiobook of Ann Rule's long career.

The first true crime book I have listened to.

The killer was really twisted. Your recently viewed items and featured recommendations, Select the department you want to search in, Switch between reading the Kindle book & listening to the Audible narration with, Get the Audible audiobook for the reduced price of $12.99 after you.
