I would highly discourage focusing too much on it. I tried a barbarian but wasnt too thrilled after playing them to the first town so then I decided on archer. A lot of classes and sub-builds benenfit from high Intelligence, Perception and Might.Think someone counted them back in April IIRC - it was pretty close but over game Resolve was the most common but not by much - after that Intelligence, Might and Perception were about equal.I just finished my first play through with 2.0, and I remember a hell of a lot more Int dialog checks than Res.If it's your first go at an Infinity Engine - style game I'd go for a melee class.

It's not from a hardcore theorycrafter, it's from someone who has been trying to figure out the answer to that question for himself. why is it easier to tank myself and do spells and ♥♥♥♥ with the rest of the party, is it just because I can ignore my own char and focus on them? The monk doesn't have to remain unarmed and can wear armor (unlike other systems with monks, such as D&D).
