I'm just hoping "THE GIRL NEXT DOOR" terrifies me a little more than this book did....started reading it last night and I'm already hooked....and TERRIFIED!!!!!! I can't find any copies under $60.” Question about Let's Go Play at the Adams': “Does anyone know why this book is so rare/expensive?

A NOVEL MORE TERRIFYING THAN LORD OF THE FLIES & THE EXORCIST COMBINED" and "A HORROR TALE THAT WILL HARROW YOU AND HAUNT YOU LONG AFTER YOU HAVE FINISHED IT" I found it quite slow, dull and boring to start, some parts did pick up and had me wanting to carry on reading, but I could have easily skipped a few chapters and still caught up on the plot or stopped reading it altogether ....but I don't like to leave a book unfinished, so I gladly carried on....the ending of the book quite honestly did make me wince a little and feel sorry for the victim in their game!but I have read much worse as I'm an addictive true crime/horror reader and this just seamed a little "calm" for me, I was told by a friend to read this before reading "THE GIRL NEXT DOOR" as she said if you can't handle reading"LET'S GO PLAY AT THE ADAMS" then you most definitely won't be able to handle reading this book!!!!!
